Spring Fling VoxBox Review.

Now that I have had the Spring Fling VoxBox for a couple of days, I think I can fairly review each product.

For those of you that missed my first post when I received the VoxBox, here is a peak of what was included.

Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara: $5.99

I’m going to start by being completely honest — I don’t like to test new mascara! It took me years to find a mascara that I loved and once I found it, I stuck with it. When Cover Girl came out with their Lash Blast mascara, I used it once and never looked back. With that being said, I’ve now been using the new Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara for 3 days and I really am in-love with it. The color showed up very dark (which I love!), the wand fanned out my eyelashes, and also added volume and length.

I’ve seen some reviews from other Influensters, stating the mascara clumped for them. I’m wondering if they may have applied too many coats? I apply 2 coats and it turns out perfect for me. I haven’t had it clump once! Another complaint that I came across were Influensters that said the mascara made them itch. This hasn’t been the case for me, but if you decided to give this mascara a try, please read the packaging and make sure you’re not allergic to it.

If you’re looking to try something new, this is a product I highly recommend. In my opinion, your makeup look is never complete without mascara. Mascara is everything!

Will I completely replace my Lash Blast mascara? Probably not… but I will be making Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara a permanent piece of my makeup collection.

Kiss Everlasting French Nails: $6.49
imageLove, love, LOVE!

Seriously. I love these. Out of everything that I received in this VoxBox, the Kiss Everlasting French Nails are my absolute favorite. I’m very impressed.

Press on nails + me = DISASTER. At least that was the case in the past. The nails were too long and I would end up with glue everywhere. My absolute favorite thing about these nails are the applicator tabs which makes applying these nails a cinch. The glue is a pink gel based glue. You start by determining which nails fit your nails. The kit comes with a nail file and a cuticle stick. Once you’ve determined which nails you’re going to apply, file your nails and push your cuticles back. Apply a small amount of glue to the fake nail and to your natural nail. Using the application tab on the front of the nail, apply the nail to your nail and press firmly until dry. The rest is simple! Bend and twist the tab off, then file the small piece of plastic that is left. The instructions recommend applying a clear coat on top for added shine (which I did).

The entire process took me 10 minutes total and it looks like I just walked out of the salon. I’m very impressed. I also want to add that these nails came “short.” I love that they weren’t all long like most nails you can purchase. These are the perfect length for me. They don’t get in the way of my day to day activities and I’m still able to type just as fast as I normally do.

I’ve been wearing the nails for 3 days and I haven’t had a single nail lift of fall off. I can imagine they will damage your nails when you remove them, but I could be wrong. I guess we’ll see when the time comes. It does say to soak your nails in acetone to remove, which is the norm for any press-on nails I’ve used.

This is a product I will definitely be purchasing a lot of in the near future. Thank you Kiss!

Playtex Sport Fresh Balance: $3.99-$4.99

NIVEA Skin Firming Hydration Lotion: $2.49 for 2.5oz/$10.99 for 13.5oz
IMG_4102I really couldn’t tell you whether this lotion is helping to firm my skin or not. The bottle says you can see results in as little as 2 weeks. It’s been 3 days since I started using the lotion and I haven’t noticed a difference just yet.

I will say that the scent of this lotion is very nice as well as the consistency. After I apply the lotion, my skin stays hydrated all day! But I do think that the cons out-weigh the pros with this product (for me at least). I cannot justify spending $2.49 for a 2.5oz bottle of lotion or $10.99 for 13.5oz. I can use the entire 2.5oz bottle of lotion in less than a week. If I start seeing some drastic results with the skin firming then I might change my mind. Until then, it is what it is.

I do love NIVEA products. I’ve always been a big fan. I just don’t think this product is for me.

Softlips Cube: $3.49
IMG_4112I’m so happy I was chosen as one of the select Influensters to review this product. Before this VoxBox, I had no idea Softlips was coming out with these cute little cubes. Good-bye lib balm tube, hello cute little cube!

The Softlips Cube I received is pomegranate blueberry. It smells amazing! The first thing I noticed when I applied this lip balm is how smooth it glides on (without being thick and sticky). Second, my lips started tingling! Now, I know the whole tingling thing isn’t for everyone, but I personally like it.

Recently, my face and lips really started drying out. I couldn’t have received this VoxBox at a better time! I’ve been using the Softlips Cube for 3 days and my lips are completely healed! After just one application they already were feeling SO much better.

I can’t wait to buy more of these and try the other flavors that are available. I recently saw somewhere that Walgreens had these 2/$6 which is a great deal! I’m not sure if this deal is still available though.

Love these!

Just a reminder! I received all of the products you see her complimentary from Influenster to test and review. I’m not getting paid for this. These are my honest opinions that I’m sharing with you.

I hope you enjoyed this post!
