Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Review — #FrostyVoxBox

I’m a big fan of Rimmel products. I’ve been lucky enough to receive many complimentary Rimmel products from Influenster for testing purposes. The above picture is of the new Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner.

The only time I ever purchase eyeliner pencil is if I need it for my waterline. For some reason, I cannot apply eyeliner pencil to my lash line. I feel like it looks horrible and chunky. I’d much rather use my go-to liquid eyeliner. I can get more precision and I can make as thick or as thin as I want.

When I first tried the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner, I was very impressed. This eyeliner glides on so smooth, I was actually able to apply it to my lash line with ease.

This swatch was with one light pass with the eye pencil. Awesome, right?? To get pencil this dark, I normally have to continuously go over the same area or use a lighter to soften the tip of the eyeliner. That wasn’t the case here! I did this swatch on the back of my hand before I even tried it on my eyes and man was I impressed!

See what I mean? Dark and smooth!

I’m still a liquid liner kinda gal, but I do love this. The new Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner is the best eyeliner I’ve found for the waterline. I have tried many expensive, name brand eye pencils for my waterline, always failing to find one that suited my needs. Rimmel’s Scandaleyes Water Proof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner glides on smooth and stays put (for the most part). You do still get the goop in the corner of your eyes, but not as often. With other pencils, I found myself applying and reapplying the liner multiple times a day — but not with this one! I only had to reapply the liner once about halfway through my day. Pretty impressive!

I can’t wait to start trying some of the other colors that are available, especially the turquoise. Here are a couple looks I created using my Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner.

Quick smokey eye to rock with my new hair cut. Here I have the eyeliner on my waterline.

For this cat eye, I used Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Thick & Thin (liquid) Eyeliner. I used the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner to tight-line my upper lashes before applying the liquid. I topped off my cat eye with the Rimmel Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara. — I actually received all of these Rimmel products complimentary from Influenster to test and review.

The quality of this photo isn’t too great, but this is today’s look. I used the kajal eyeliner to line my lash line as well as my upper and lower waterline. I’m also wearing my NYC Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum. I received this lipstick in the Frosty VoxBox as well. Look for a review on that in the next few days 🙂

What new beauty products are you looking forward to trying in 2015?

Happy Monday!
