Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eyeliner Review.

Hey everyone!

Two weeks ago I received a VoxBox from Influenster with some complimentary Rimmel London products to test and review because I won a brand badge challenge with a previous VoxBox. I’ve been testing the products included in the Voxbox for the past 2 weeks and I’m ready to start reviewing. Let’s get this started!

The products I’m reviewing today are the Rimmel London Scandaleyes Eyeliners. I actually received 2 of these. One with an ultra thin felt tip and the other with a slanted felt tip, so you’re able to accomplish thick or thin lines. Both eyeliners are black and waterproof.

I was actually very excited when I saw these included in the VoxBox. I’m a huge fan of liquid liner, although I don’t care for felt tip liners. With that being said, I gave it a go.

What better way to try these liners our then a good winged liner? Right? Both liners applied smoothly and fairly easily. One thing I immediately did not like is the color. The black isn’t as dark as I would have liked it. I attempted going over the liner to see if I could darken it, but that was a no go. All that accomplished was making the liner streaky. I finished the look off by applying Rimmel London’s Lash Accelerator Mascara (another product I received in the VoxBox, but will be reviewed in a different post). Then, I went about my day — school and the state fair.

After 8 hours of wear, this is what the liner looked like . . .

Pretty awful considering the eyeliner is supposed to be waterproof, right? Yes, I was walking around, sweating at the fair, but you would think the liner would be able to withstand that. I’ve tried many different liquid liners, regular and waterproof, and I’ve never had such horrible results. The only thing I would continue using these liners for is tight lining. Even then, the liner wears off pretty quick.

Don’t waste your money on these.

(I am not getting paid for this review. I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.)

Have a fabulous weekend!
