I’ve been so busy lately, I feel like I can’t catch my breath — but I wanted to share with you one of the new complimentary products I’ve been testing from BzzAgent.
Meet the new Glad OdorShield with Gain!
I’ve been a fan of Glad for as long a I can remember. Growing up, my mom used Glad trash bags. Now that I’m older, my husband and I use them as well. My favorite trash bags are Glad’s ForceFlex. Now that BzzAgent has given me the opportunity to try the new Glad OdorShield with Gain, I’ve officially converted from Glad’s ForceFlex to the new Glad OdorShield with Gain.
Before I get to the review, I want to give a quick shout-out to all of my subscribers, old and new. Thank you! I’ve had a good amount of people subscribe to me recently and it really means a lot! I hope you guys enjoy what I have to offer here at Makeup n’ Munchies.
I wish I could dedicate more time to my blog, but with a toddler, school, internship, husband, business, etc. it’s quite difficult to keep up — but I do have a lot of products I’ve been testing as well as recipes I need to share with you all, and I’m hoping I can start being more proactive here.
While I was on a quick trip to Walmart for a razor, I stumbled upon the new Venus Swirl Razor. I had my go-to razor in hand when a display suddenly came to life. It was lit up pretty bright and had a demo of how the razor moves with the curves of your body. Next thing I knew, I found myself reaching for the new razor — and I’m so happy I did!
It’s a great morning 🙂 My daughter only woke up ONCE last night. I got almost 8 hours of sleep. Now I’m sitting here enjoying the little pitter patters of rain on the roof with a nice cup of coffee. Did I mention everyone is still asleep? Peace and quiet. Well . . . except for my pitbull sitting here eating dog food like a savage, lol.
Anyway. Last year on one of my many trips to Ulta, I was given some free samples of Urban Decay lipstick because I bought their Naked Skin foundation along with the powder. I tried each sample (I believe there was 5) and completely fell in-love with “anarchy.” Because of the price, I never went back to buy a full tube. My sample managed to last me a full year though 🙂 Amazingly. And for those of you that don’t personally know me, I’m not a big lipstick fan. I think I look absurd in most shades.
My birthday was last Sunday and one of the gifts I received was a gift card to Ulta. As soon as I saw it, I knew what I wanted to buy. (You can pick one up at Ulta for $22.)
I love nail polish. I try to make a trip down the nail polish aisle any time I go to the store. I’ve seen Salon Perfect on many occasions, but I never could get myself to make a purchase. Last week I gave in and picked up one bottle of Salon Perfect nail polish in “Haute Pink.”
I don’t know about you, but it looks more like a bright orange rather than a pink. Either way, I fell in-love with the color and HAD to buy it. It wasn’t badly priced either… only $3.98/each at Walmart.
Have you tried Wonka Randoms yet? Smiley360 sent me FREE samples to test and review — mine are already gone. Oops?! If you haven’t already tried Wonka Randoms, I highly recommend you pick yourself up a bag. You won’t be sorry!
Wonka Randoms come in 70 different shapes, 7 fruit flavors, and 3 gummy textures. No 2 bags of Wonka Randoms are the same! My favorite Randoms are the gummies filled with gooey goodness. Yum! I think I found my new sweet tooth cure. They’re really not too bad for you either, as long as you consume them in moderation. Or you can eat 2 bags in one day like my husband and I did 😛
Pictured above are just a few of the cute gummy shapes that are available in a bag of Wonka Randoms. Fish, feet, ducks, flowers, smiley faces, sunglasses, etc.
I’m a sucker for Sinful Colors Professional Nail Polish. I always try to pick up new colors every chance I get. I recently made a trip to Walmart and picked up three new polishes. The polish pictured above is called “Tempest,” and this photo really doesn’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous!
A few months ago I was introduced to Thirty-One. I’m not a consultant, but I have a friend who is one. She invited me to a few online parties and I started learning about their products. I immediately fell in-love.
I have an obsession. Purses. 5 years ago my husband bought me my first Coach purse, but only because I agreed to donate my entire purse collection. This was a very difficult thing for me because I loved each and every one very much. After 5 years with my beautiful Coach purse, I finally caved and bought myself a Thirty-One purse. That poor purse has been through a lot — I’ve had people spill beer on it on a few occasions, it’s been to the Bahamas and Curacao, etc.
I wasn’t sure what to think when I first made my Thirty-One purchase. It’s very different from making a normal purchase online. I’m very happy with my purchase/products, but there are some cons I think others who haven’t purchased from a Thirty-One consultant before should know.
Con #1 — You don’t receive a confirmation upon placing your order.
Con #2 — Your order/card isn’t processed until a party is closed out. You will see a 0.01 cent charge as a hold on your account until it’s fully processed.
Con #3 — Once the party closes, you don’t receive confirmation your order is processed. You’ll only know if you check your bank account on a daily basis.
Con #4 — Once your account is charged, you don’t receive shipping info. I had to ask my friend and she provided me with the information.
I was so in-love with the NYC Expert Last Lip Color that I received from Influenster to test and review that I went and picked up a new shade to try. This is Air Kiss. Isn’t it gorgeous? This is my favorite lipstick of the moment!
I love it so much, I picked up a second one to share with one of my lucky followers. Keep an eye out this weekend. I’m going to try to post my giveaway 🙂
This isn’t the only gift you’ll receive either. I put a couple of my favorite products together that I think are perfect for this coming spring and summer! I can’t wait to share them with you.
If you haven’t already checked out my previous review on this wonderful product, click here!
I hope you’re all having a fabulous day!

Do you find yourself in a mindless rush most mornings? Trying to get the kids ready and fed, leaving little time for yourself?
I received a complimentary box of the new Quaker Steel Cut 3-Minute Oats from Quaker and BzzAgent to test and review for you. I was given the option of blueberries & cranberries OR brown sugar & cinnamon — I chose blueberries & cranberries.
While on one of my many trips to Ulta, I decided to have one of the Benefit girls wax my brows for me. It was my birthday at the time and for those of you that don’t already know this, Ulta will wax your brows complimentary on your birthday. Who can say no to a free brow wax? Not only did the girl do a nice job, I loved the product she used to fill in my brows after. I ended up leaving with a $30 Benefit eyebrow kit that looked amazing when she applied it on me in store and horrible when I applied it at home. I used the kit a handful of times before I finally threw it aside because it was making me look like Bozo the Clown.
If I didn’t have a funky right eyebrow, I wouldn’t even bother filling in my brows. Since trying the Benefit kit, I’ve tried different eyebrow pencils as well as eyeshadows — I didn’t fall in-love with any of them.
A few months ago I had a couple of my friends recommend I try the e.l.f. studio Eyebrow Kit. The kit only costs $3. How could I say no?
I’m going to go ahead and apologize now for all of the different tag on my photos. I bought this kit before I changed up my blog, Instagram, and Twitter.
