July book recommendations.

I’ve decided I’m going to start something new. I own a Kindle Fire and am an avid reader. I download a lot of free books from the Amazon Marketplace and read at least 3 books per month. Each month (if I can remember) I’m going to start posting my favorite books from that month — and since we’re nearing the end of July, I thought I’d start with my July book recommendations!

1. Reunion (A Supernatural Thriller) by Jeff Bennington // If you like a little bit of a mystery and are a fan of the supernatural, you’ll really enjoy this book! In short, a student goes on a shooting spree at his high school, killing and injury students (he also kills himself). Twenty years later, some of the students that were involved in the incident, come together for their 20-year reunion… but, can they survive the reunion?

Jamba At Home Smoothies Review.



Here’s another complimentary product I received in the Surf’sUp VoxBox from Influenster for testing purposes.

The Jamba At Home Smoothie Kit in Caribbean Passion. There are other flavors/mixes available, this is just what sounded good to me at the time. You simply pour the contents into your blender, add a cup of apple juice, and blend. Simple, right? You can then split the smoothie into two 8oz glasses like it recommends.. OR, you can enjoy the entire thing like I did. Okay well, I lied.. I shared with my 16-month-old 🙂

SinfulColors Professional Nail Polish Review.

Another product that I received in the Surf’sUp VoxBox from Influenster is a SinfulColors Professional Nail Polish in the color Ocean Side. I’ve actually been using SinfulColors for many years now, so I don’t really feel like I was testing this product. I do have to admit, when I saw what color I received, I wasn’t too happy. I very seldom buy blue nail polish. It’s not that I hate blue, I’ve just never had good luck with it. I always end up looking like a Smurf when I remove it, so I have to take extra care not to get any polish on my cuticles. With that being said, I’ve grown to really love this color.
